Making Money With Google Adsense

Posted in at 10:46 pm by Admin

Google is the king of the search engines. After you earn $100 or more they cut you a check. Google Adsense is king of the pay-per-clicks. It is able to pay you money to serve ads on you web site or blog. Go to Google Adsense and after you enter your information, Google will reply back in a few days if you are accepted. Then you can add some javascript to your website and start serving ads. Put the ads on top so people can see them. The best format is called a leaderboard. You can serve up to three strips of ads per page. Make sure to have at least 200 words of content per page or this pay-per-click search engine is not happy. Do not place an ad near the bottom as can easily be overlooked.
Make your ad a color that compliments the main text - no clashing colors. Recently Adsense has started serving videos. These can help make you web page more interesting. One common mistake people make with Adsense and other pay-per-clicks is that they try to chase high paying keywords. Focus on topics you are good at, not those that pay the best. I use the following tools to find keyword – Wordtracker and Keyword Discovery, they are excellent at finding the best keywords, but if you want to find the best high paying keyword then Keyword Country is your tool.

Nice article on Adsense. I’m currently planning to build a website which is focused on providing general investment information advice on different investment strategies, shares, cash, bonds, futures et cetera. Part of my plan is signing up for Google Adsense so that the website can hopefully generate some revenue though advertising. Your article provides some great tips, simple and effective.

I have no knowledge on pay-per-click and/or Adsense, but would like to change that. Your comments have “wetted my whistle”. I’m off to visit some Google Adsense info pages in hopes of a better understanding. Thanks for the push!

It sounds like using Adsense is really easy. Perhaps I should give Adsense a try.

I recently started a blog and have added Google Adsense so your article was very helpful. I have the letterboard set on top, so I guess I am going to start out right. However, I didn’t know about this keyword discovery you have mentioned. I will start using this to help me become successful with my Google Adsense. Thanks for the advice! Great article.

This surely is an interesting way of making money on your site. Today only AdSense lets you do this with quite an ease. I am soon many online giants will have products equivalent to AdSense letting folks make even more money via lending space on their websites :)
