Books for Blogging
Making money on your blog isn’t easy and requires a little reading if you want to learn techniques beyond just creating a website and posting a few articles. For me it means understanding a number of skills:
- How write an effective online article
- How to use CSS & html to create a user friendly presentation (Great book by David Powers)
- How to create PHP pages to create dynamic webpages (another must-have by David Powers)
- How to apply widgets and plugins to make your site more robust
- How to incorporate Adsense, TextLinkAds, and ClickBank to monetize your content
And much more. Check out my two resources for finding the right books to help you learn these skills:

It never occurred to me that there might be books written about the subject of blogging. Then I read here that not only are there books about blogging but there are books about making money through blogging. This book-lover firmly believes in the power to books to inform and teach.

I suppose I’m not really surprised that there are books on blogging. Heck, there are books on just about any subject. I guess I should read more.

Personally I think books are a waste of money, when you can get hands on experience on the internet. Books are great for reading about a subject, but when it comes to computers and the internet, there is nothing like first-hand experience.

I didn’t realize so many books were available for blogging! I am first going to check my library for the books but if they’re not there, I will look into investing in a few books on blogging. I find it beneficial to have the material beside me to refer back to as I am working. Thanks for the post!

Would be a great asset to own a book on blogging and to actually blog in a right way.. The best way to blog is to write on daily subjects and sign up for adsense and put in relevant ads on it ! The books have a great bit of ideas to make money from the blog which are more interesting

Books such as tose mentioned in the recommended list are definitely a must for publishing a coherent and readable blog.

I’m going to look into some of those books. I’ve never thought about there being physical books on blogging. I always figured that information was just out there electronically.

Wow, I never realized that there were books about blogging and how to make money at it no less. I guess if you want to do something right and be successful at it you should always read as much material, including books, as you can get your hands on.

Right on! I remember my first time blogging when I started college. I read a lot books but none of them helped in my adventures in blogging for money. Thank you for providing all those great links to books about blogging. You have renewed my interest in blogging.
