Yahoo Pipes allows you to create mashups on the fly. The program includes a simple interface and a set of pre-assembled commonly used tools (RSS feeds, XML, etc) to make mashing much easier. You also have the flexibility to write you’re own code should a particular need exist.
One of the best features of Yahoo Pipes is the ability to share Pipes. In their Hot Pipes section you can review popular mashups and either use them as is or add your own twist to meet your needs. Some pipes have evolved over 100’s of iterations.
