30 Days of Blogging Money Making Tools - Day 3 (ClickBank)
ClickBank is the #1 source for eBooks, both as an author or website publisher. As an author, this is a great place to post your eBook for sale where others can review your topic and purchase directly through ClickBank with a credit card.
For the rest of us, ClickBank offers two great advantages. First, there actually are a number of good eBooks on the site. See my list off to the right “Money Making Tools & Resources”. Many of these are valuable eBooks and I’ve handpicked those that I feel are worth sharing.
Second, as a website publisher ClickBank can help you make money online and monetize your site. As with most affiliate programs, if readers buy an eBook through a link on your site, you get paid. Royalties are percentage based and vary from 5% on up. As you’d image, those with the highest payout get listed the most.
Once you find some titles that are worth advertising, there are two strategies for selecting which titles to put on your site. First, you could select those titles with the highest royalty rates, but chances are readers will have already seen these advertised elsewhere. Second, you could pick those titles that have decent royalty rates but aren’t as widely advertised. ClickBank offer all the stats to understand these metrics and make the most informed decision. You should also consider presenting a balanced portfolio of ads - ads of various popularity and royalty to determine the best mix over time.
My suggestion it to check out ClickBank yourself to understand what it’s all about and choose for yourself how to get involved. If your traffic is good and you have a select number of ClickBank titles to advertise, you can make some good money ($30-$50) per title.
